Custodianship

Four levels of care for minor students aged 16 or above. One yearly fee, set by the level you choose and where the student lives.

Find your fee

Two answers show the levels available to the student and the yearly price of each.

1. Where will the student live?
2. Where will the student study?

All fees are in Canadian dollars, per student, per year. Online notarization ($50 per document) and immigration applications are charged separately. Fees do not include sales tax (GST/HST), which may apply.

Which level fits?

BasicA parent is in Canada with the student, and the school or permit application still needs a custodian on paper. At least one parent must have legal status in Canada.
StandardThe student is at a private high school or college and needs someone to sign consents and answer the school.
Standard Plus+The student is at a public high school. School boards require the custodian to register the student and follow attendance and progress, so this is the minimum level for public high school.
MonitoredParents want someone hands-on: airport pick-up, settling in, parent-teacher interviews and reports each term.
